What is Nostalgia Good For?: I’ve always made fun of Bryan for his incredible memory. But apparently this reflection makes people smarter and can prevent depression!

Grayson Clamp’s Auditory Brainstem Implant (the first pediatric ABI in the country): and CASTLE’s rehabilitation services (where I’m working this summer!):

Cora Kimberly Shrader: a story that will make you sob (I did!). This family birthed a stillborn infant, an infant that they had known for a while would not survive. Their response to this tragedy is a humble reminder of whom we should trust.

City Portrait: Chapel Hill: a beautifully written piece about a place that (truly) has my heart.

How Children Succeed: Grit, Curiosity and the Hidden Power of Curiosity: this is on my must-read list.

Carolina, Keep Calling Me Home: Eric Church’s song – which I just heard for the first time last week – has been haunting me recently. And I don’t think of it as all that sad (see, Nostalgia, above).

Our Engagement Photos: Sarah Der does amazing things with film photography. Let’s just be real.
