Marshall: the man last night.

A great Washington Post profile on him from the day of the VaTech game; they chose the right guy to feature, for sure.
(he’s also from Arlington, VA).

Additionally, Carolina has taught me to love articles like this. http://tarheelblue.cstv.com/sports/m-baskbl/spec-rel/011411aab.html

Lucas is  a great ‘dramatic’ writer. Loved his column here. Of course, the game’s certainly not all about Marshall–certainly not–but it’s always exciting to celebrate a newly-arrived freshman. Read this:

“Here’s the thing: Marshall never catches it. Not in the true sense of the word. He just redirects it, off his fingertips, to a wide-open Henson on the baseline. Henson unselfishly feeds Zeller for a basket, giving Zeller the two points, Henson the assist, and Marshall…nothing.

…that play was not court vision. Marshall could not see it. He had to feel it…”
